So who says camp is just for kids? If the idea of a couple of days -- or maybe a week or two away from the normal routine is appealing, check out the suggestions at Grown Up Camps.
The site won't do everything it takes to get away, but it can cut down research time. It divides the self-evident category, camps for people who aren't kids, into several subcategories, including academics, arts, fitness/wellness, family camps, special needs, special interests, traditional and wilderness adventure.
And the subcategories are broken down -- the wilderness, for instance, includes horseback, hiking, hunting, etc. Then you can choose a geographical area. In most cases the final results are links, addresses and telephone numbers. You'll ultimately have to do the checking out yourself.
