Copyright
I just found this disturbing section of the TA Terms and Conditions and sent the following message to feedback. Everyone sharing photographs and graphics should be aware of that section.

messagefor Lois from Tony Hogan
Morning Margaret,
Nice to know that someone has looked and liked the work enough to comment. Please send my thanks for her kind words. Kind words may not pay the bills but they do motivate and leave a warm glow of accomplishment.
See you later today. I understand you are coming round for coffee and scones.
x Tony
Yes Lois I have a friend staying with me this week and we going for tea and scones made by Tony's wife, Eileen.

I bet the scones were wonderful too. Think I shall make a pot of tea in your honor though I am too tired to make scones today. I did buy some lovely huckleberry jam while I was on holiday though so prehaps tomorrow - g.

One more try.
Just saw your message Lois
about Tony's picture. I will give him your message - thanks.
You are amazing to find the page of artists from around here. My other friends on that list are Rob Gobel (my dentist friend), and Glenn Marshall (Merice - tchnochiks') husband, and Leanne Broadbent (known since a child)

I just have a number of sites that I visit now and then. And of course I have Merice as a favorite over on RedBubble.
I did look at all the graphics on that site - but don't tell your other friends - I liked Tony's the best.

Feedback
The only response I have gotten from feedback is that they misplaced my message in their read mail box - and that was all. No response as to any of the problems that I have submitted.
I did see your cute photo of Don at the beach.
It took so long to get back and forth. He is getting cuter as the months go by. They do grow so quickly. It finally gegistered to look at the type at the upper right. I didn't see it because I use the CRT with the largest images and forget to use the slider.
I sent Dan a message
I sent Dan a message requesting a few changes and asking some questions and he replied telling me to contact feedback. Not really helpful as it took quite a while to find 'feedback' which if anyone wants to send feedback is under support which is buried about 4 clicks under help at the bottom of each page.
Unlike the original ThirdAge
when photos could be viewed by all members and sometimes commented on, the new Group's discussion can only be accessed by the group members. I went to the Group discussion and saw only posts and no links to a group photo discussion or photos. That kind of limits participation, doesn't it?
The menu listing the album
The menu listing the album is on the right hand corner of the group main page. That menu does not appear on the discussion page at this time. But I was able to see another groups album without being a member of the group.
Photography Group
Dan did create the photography group for us today even though it's Saturday. Join up and join in the fun.
PHOTOS OF MY WORLD
I guess by now you know that your photo isn't showing up here.
I can clink on the link you provided and see it that way though.
When I posted my photo from Photobucket I had to use the html link to get it to show up here.
At the other site where I posted pictures only the direct link would show the photo there.
So, try, try again....please...LOL!
Test
I'm just testing to see if pics will show up from pbase. Could you let me know, please, if you can see this? Thanks!
--Marcie
Ok, that didn't work.
Ok, that didn't work. Let's try this:

I don't know why this won't work. Is my html wrong? It's supposed to allow direct linking. hmmmmmmmmmm
Doll pics
I've posted them at pBase - these are (with a couple of exceptions) individual pics of some of my dolls. These are all from the Bleuette family of dolls. If any of you might be interested, that's where they are. I made a lot of the outfits these dolls are wearing.

Photography Group
Lois, do you know if it's been created yet? I found the listing for it, but when I clicked on it, 2 discussions showed - this one, twice.
--Marcie
There is nothing new under
There is nothing new under groups and I also saw this discussion listed twice. Interesting - i suspect they won't get it done until at least Monday now. No word from Dan.
Photo Albums
What do you want me to do with the former TA photo albums? I still have them all saved in pBase and Tripod.
Can you just hang on to
Can you just hang on to them for a bit Val. I know that I already have some of them but they are all saved to disk now and I don't have the energy to look for them just yet.
I don't know what we would ever do with them but somehow I think its nice to have them - maybe i will turn them all into a movie of our historical events - g.

no problem. My computer is dying. I am looking for a refurbished cheapie. I entered everything I had on the drives into pBase and Tripod. They are safe now and are not going anywhere.

Val, have you tried Craig's list? Look here: http://detroit.craigslist.org/sys/789156457.html
I am off today and Tuesday
I am off today and Tuesday and will try and get organized a little. I need to burn some more stuff to cd so I have a little room for more stuff - so I can burn it to cd.
PHOTOS OF MY WORLD
You are getting really good at posting photos Oiseau.
Can anyone explain to me the difference between a Group and a Discussion?
I have looked at a couple of Groups and they look the same as a Discussion in appearance, at least to me.
There is suppose to be a big difference in the two. I was asked to consider making Grandparenting a Group instead of a Discussion, but I don't see the why for...
Marcie and I didn't get to
Marcie and I didn't get to play with that one group for very long but i did see a couple of differences. The first being the group album. Another was that a group can have more than one discussion. You can also have an email sent to you when there is a new post in a group discussion. I have no idea if that works or not but it was a listed option.
They can always make it a group later if you decide you want one. Hopefully we will have a photography one to play with by tomorrow.
Forgot to resize the other
Thanks MyGirls
I can't believe that Dan actually answered - you are honoured :-) I wrote to support two days ago andhave had NO response hhhhmm
Here's my latest effort;

PHOTOS OF MY WORLD
Congrats. Oiseau, on posting your photo.
I like being able to post my photo here, but Dan tells me that in "Groups" you can put all your photos on one page instead of in a Discussion.
I will have to check out what he is talking about. Is it the same thing you mentioned, Lois?
He wants me to start a Grandparenting in Groups...don't know, I kind of like this format for Grandparenting. I can see using Groups for Photos and such.
But, I will go look at a Group when I have the time to really check it out. I have been all over TA these last few days just saving my favorites.
The group that Marcie and I
The group that Marcie and I played with had an album and all photos posted to it were visiable to all members of the group. And when you upload the photo to the album you can have a title and tags.
And folks can comment on them individually within the album.
Dan should have one set up for us by tomorrow so we can play.
Hello folks - I tried it and it works WOW
And just what did you do,
And just what did you do, little girl?
Groups
I sent Dan an email requesting that he set up a photography group for us. Marcie and I did some testing within a group that has since been deleted and found that we could upload photos to the group album, add titles and tags and a description. AND best of all - while we couldn't link url's the complete album was available and visible to all members of the group.
Will let you know when I hear back from him.
