Sophia Loren: How to Look and Feel Great

Sophia Loren knows a bit about looking and feeling great. The legendary film star recently shared her views on maintaining good looks and a positive outlook.

Never count calories. "I eat -- not excessively -- but I eat. Instead, I have spaghetti or rice nearly every day, fish or meat, vegetables and fruit. You just use common sense."

Get on your feet. "I exercise enough so I don't rust. I take long walks. I maybe do stretches and exercises for 40 minutes every morning."

Don't worry, be happy. "You know the secret to looking good on the outside? Feeling good on the inside. Worry, unhappiness -- it shows on your face."

Early to bed, early to rise. "I wake up at 6, go to bed by 8:30. If I have to go out later than that to a party or a movie, I have to drag myself."

Love makes the world go 'round. "You have to love in life--I love my family, my friends. To love brings me great fulfillment."

Enrich each day. "Find something new to do every day of your life. You need spice and variety, especially as the years go by.
