Online Support for Caregivers

Baby boomers who may feel backed into a corner by the responsibilities of caring for aged parents can now receive expert advice online and by e-mail.

Francine and Robert Moskowitz, authors of "Parenting Your Aging Parents" are providing an in-depth instructional course on related housing, finances, medical care and emotional issues.

The seven-week course costs $40 and provides guidance through the legal and financial maze of caregiving along with practical advice for many boomers who've set aside some personal goals to improve the lifestyle of their aging parents.

Lessons in the course also instruct these "children" on how to deal with any guilt or depression that may surface after making a difficult decision. Instruction covers living arrangements, understanding the details of medical insurance and maximizing care from personal physicians.
