A ThirdAger asking for a divorce from his wife is in the witness chair being questioned by his wife's lawyer.
At the lawyer's urging, the man tells a long story about the couple's last fight. At the end of it, he says, "And then she hit me with a maple leaf."
"Surely that couldn't have caused you any serious injury," his wife's lawyer says.
"Are you kidding?" the man says. "It was the leaf from the center of our dining room table!"
