On those mornings when you wake up late and feel lousy, about the last thing you want to face is a clothes closet and a decision about what to wear. Fashion expert Susannah Constantine suggests the answer is to keep things simple, and that means a nice, simple dress.

"Through the years," says Constantine, "we have found that the only solution to ease morning madness is to wear a dress -- dresses require minimal accessories, they are easy to put on, they are infinitely more comfortable than separates." Moreover, she adds, they can be found in great abundance in designer shops.

With the changing of the seasons, shops are loaded with garments at great prices and many can be worn in more than one season -- in winter with pantyhose and sweaters or in the summer -- "bare-legged and brazen."

If the thought of having to team tops with bottoms and suits with shirts seems all too complicated, the only look that may lift your mood is the faithful dress.
