Detox Diet Stresses Organics

A health practitioner says that by using only natural food ingredients, women who use her two-day plan can help rid themselves of "stuck" weight (cellulite) and rid the body of pollutants such as junk food, additives and chemicals.

Kathryn Marsden, author of "The Food Combining 2-Day Detox," says the plan requires no deprivation nor difficult diets. Participants eat fresh, vitamin-rich ingredients that relieve a tired and stressful body while boosting the immune system and improving circulation, digestion and elimination, she says.

"Very few of us eat an ideal diet,"` Marsden says. "We consume mass-produced, processed and denatured food, artificial colors, flavors and preservatives, pesticides and hormone residues in our food and water supply, and industrial emissions, traffic exhaust fumes and dioxins."
