Don't burn the midnight oil searching the Web for ways to get to sleep. The folks at The Better Sleep Council say 15 minutes at their site will answer your sleep questions and help those fluffy sheep count you quickly to dreamland.

Director Andrea Herman says most people only think about sleep when they get too little of it. She says a little advance planning and research can make all the difference between a night of tossing and turning and hours of rest.

There's information on the site to help you assess your mattress to determine if you need a new one. You can find out how to buy and care for a new mattress and get health-related information.

The site also has surveys and interactive quizzes and can answer questions such as "Is napping bad for you?" The council is a not-for-profit group dedicated to educating consumers on the value of a good sleep environment.
