Bell Ringer

A man comes home after a long business trip. When he gets to the door he can't find his key. He rings the bell, and a woman that he doesn't know opens the door.

"Who are you?" he asks.

"I'm the new maid," she says.

The man decides to have some fun with his wife, so he hands the maid a beautiful necklace he bought for his wife and tells the maid, "Take this to the lady of the house and tell her that an admirer who's waiting at the door sent it to her."

A few minutes later the maid reappears.

"My mistress thanks you very much for the gift," she says, "and she asks that you leave your telephone number. She can't see you right now because she's expecting her husband at any minute."
